I remember I once logged in at the hour there are usually mostly Europeans and turned out to be only user active.

However, minute later things back to normal.

I've never timed it, but the period from 4-6 am ET is usually pretty slow. I do quite a few allnighters for my research, and I'm often logged in during those stretches. I've seen times with as few as 4 posters logged in.
