If this game goes again, I'd have interest in playing.

Ok, then, let's see. We have a total of 5 people, right?

Junkie
Me
Turin
Bacon King
Tmth

So, the question is basically whether one person should play two countries or whether you all trust me enough to let me take part. Tongue

I  would be willing to play two...but I would have no problem if you also took part.  You should have chance for fun.

If you need an extra player...I'd be in.  No biggie if the table's been set.

On the contrary, Bullmoose, on the contrary. We are thus set to go. Please send me a PM stating your order of preference for the different nations. First PM gets first preference and so on.

For the record, the players are:

Bacon King
Bullmoose
Turin

Amusingly enough the first 2 people to PM me had identical preference lists.

If I am one of those two...tee hee, I will yield to the other.

I've been contemplating that. Joe is the only moderator of this board and he hasn't been active since January, so we're not going to get this thread unstickied and a new one stickied. Due to that, I'm leaning towards carrying on in this thread, so I'll do that unless you guys want me not to.

How do you feel?

Ja Ja!

(Wow, that was contradictory)

I think it'd be fine just to leave it in this thread, to guarantee we'll be on a stickied thread.

I refer everyone to the first post of this thread, to see rules and stuff. For those who didn't take part in the first game I especially advice reading it to see how I will be running things.

I might be a bit slow with my first German moves, since I have a lot to do for the next few days, but after that I will have more time for this. (I now realize that I have never played Germany before in A&A. We'll see how that goes.)

Ok, first turn is played out, speedy resolution from BK!

The Soviets basically poured most of their resources into a determined attack on West Russia (2 armour, artillery and fighters + 4 infantry) against the weak German defence (1 armour, 1 artillery 3 infantry). 2 Russian infantry lost, while wiping out the defenders.

The rest of the Soviet move was basically just shoring up the frontlines in West and East.

Map (I think you should be able to open it in a new window/tab and zoom in on it):

I dunno what you did differently, but unlike past images this one is only 800x457 pixels, thus unzoomable.

That is strange, since I didn't do anything differently.

This one is better but I'm afraid still not good enough?

No, I can zoom in on that one; it's good now. Sure you didn't do anything differently?

Pretty much - I never did much with these pictures anyway. It might that imageshack made some changes I suppose.

Or, well, with the second one I did manually adjust it when uploading to the greatest possible resolution. But I never had to do that before to get it right.

Ok, this last one works perfectly for me - just right-click, open in a new tab and zoom in. Hope it works for everyone else too!

Yep!

It appears that imageshack has an "image resize" feature now, with the default set on 800x600. I'm guessing that was the source of the problem.

No problems now! As I said, I will decide about and send in my moves as soon as I have time, but I'm doing a lot of reading and essay writing right now.
