The Germans were following the Führer's call of "Go East!"

The infantry in Algeria moved to Libya, the supporting units in France moved to Germany and Italy and other assorted forces also moved to the East. Apart from the new troops built, new naval forces were also built in both the Baltic and the Mediterranean.

Maybe rename the thread again, so that it is obvious that it is now UK's turn?

Undaunted by the German forces approaching through Persia, the British launched an attack on Indo-China, liberating the French colonial masters from the uppity Asians.

In Africa, British infantry retook Egypt. The RAF joined their Russian brethren in Moscow. New forces were mobilized in India, South Africa and the UK.

The Japanese, in another outpouring, recaptured Indochina. After heavy bombardment from the Japanese navy, the British forces immediately surrendered. In Borneo the British defenders put up a more valiant effort, inflicting significant losses on the Japanese invading force. On land, the Soviet forces, dismayed at fighting in China while the Motherland was under threat, gave up without a fight in face of the advancing Japanese menace.

It is now Japanese non-combat.

Man, Indo-China is becoming a killing field.  How many times has it changed hands? Six?

While we have a moment, I would like to say one of the most interesting give and takes is the battle for the subcontinent.  Think about it, almost everything that has happened so far seems very plausible with the history of the war.

But the brawl in India is crazy.  First it fell to a Japanese amphib.  It was then liberated by the RUSSIANS.  That was followed by a German Ampibious landing that almost succeeded.  Crazy.  At one point, the German and Japanese navies were co-located off the coast of India sharing saki and sausage.  Quite fascinating.

Although, I am starting to think that I may have fallen into a carefully orchestrated plot by the Allies.

Japan moved around lots of troops, with the most notable movements being the advancement of troops in Siberia and the loading up of Phillipino forces on transports now moving to the Indian coast. New forces, both land and naval were also mobilized.

The Americans did not do anything sufficiently dramatic to make me comment on it.

Sorry for this wait, everyone, the last few days have been very busy; moving, registration/orientation for my new school, etc. I haven't had a free chunk of time long enough to actually sit down and contemplate my moves. Again, my apologies, but I'm fairly certain I'll have my moves in by the morning Smiley

The Soviet counter-attack finally bore down on the German defenders. Although it could only happen with considerable losses, Karelia and the Ukraine were both, again, recaptured by Soviet forces.

It is now Soviet non-combat.

The Red Army send advance units into Sinkiang and West Russia, moved their air defence to the newly conquered Ukraine and mobilized new forces. It was now a simple wait for Germany's next move.

Hitler ordered a full-frontal assault along the entire front. Once the dust has settled the Red Army lay in ruins, with Leningrad and Stalingrad both captured. In the shadow of this breakthrough, German troops (although at heavy losses) retook Egypt from the British.

It is now Germany's noncombat.
