Obliterate Berlin.

Oh, and Goethe and the Grimms... such cliché choices. I'd have much preferred Büchner. Or August Spies for an americospecific pick. (But you can correct that by using John Peter Altgeld for RhP).
But I love the bust of Hahn at the western entry to the parking lot by the Kleinmarkthalle in Frankfurt... "here stood the birthplace of Otto Hahn, such-and-such-Gasse whatever."

It give so many people from Hessen or the other states. I show only 3 from every state, because I think that is enough. Number 4 on my list of Hessen was Rudi Völler Cheesy Is he better like the Grimms?

The Grimms are mandatory if you've the nickname Hans-im-Glück Wink

I was thinking about Grabowski and Hölzenbein. I've been thinking about the two, but in the end I decided against it.

Point taken. Well, remove Goethe. He quit us as soon as he could, anyways. Smiley Besides, that removes the issue of two native Frankfurters on the list.

(Yeah, seriously. If you're taking the cliche One Hessian it's Goethe. Take the cliche Two Hessians and it's Goethe and the Grimms, who I guess count as one. Take the cliche Three Hessians and you're adding Büchner. Who is the most interesting of the lot. Hence the reason for my "complaint" - Goethe, the Grimms, and somebody random was just the predictable way of shoddily presenting the state.)

Here some important people, born in Rhineland-Palatinate:

Helmut Kohl (Chancellor 1982-1998)

Fritz Walter (German Fotballer)

Karl Marx ( German philosopher,  political theorist)

When I start this Survivor I never expect that Rhineland-Palatinate wil be the winner. When I think about it, it`s no real surprise. This state is a rual, not so big State and looks very friendly. I voted for berlin to win, but I can live with this winner. With Rhineland-Palatinate wins a little bit Bavaria too Wink

Thank you for your participation in this game. Don't forget my other Survivor "Most Influential Figures in History Survivor"

Kewl !

I was worried Berlin or Hessen would win... Funny to see both Kohl and Marx winning this Wink

Rhineland-Palatinate is also a great land of Roman past. And a peaceful place. And now fortunately free of ugly French military camps !

Fine and original winner !
