This election is making me question the value of democracy.
This election should make you question the intelligence of Obama more than anything else. There's no other reason why all this is occurring.
Perhaps, I just don't see how Obama could position himself on this issue without pissing off part of the electorate. If his administration was mute on SB1070, who knows how much support they would have lost from Latinos/Progressives. Saying nothing about a controversial issue can be just as damaging as taking a hard stance.
