Very Republican sample Rass seems to get in NY, with the governor numbers and now this.
I'm not worried about this race though.
New York is a very Dem state, but the GOP does have pockets of strength and in the right conditions a GOP candidate has a shot.
New Yorkers will support a GOP candidate if they are moderate (ok... not this time) and have, well, some balls (aka D'Amato, Pataki...)
I think Hillary only beat Lazio (no super star candidate, to be sure) by about
8 correction 12% back in 2000.
Given this is a GOP year, I can buy a 10 point lead.
I will be shocked if the (D) doesn't wind cleanly, but 10 points is sane IMHO.
