OK, I personally do not think that any global warming is caused by humans.  For those that do you may want to read this article before you start yelling at people for driving vehicles with low gas mileage.

Basically this article says that the by-products of burning fossil fuels actually help cool the Earth.

So Drive those SUVs for Earth.

So, it is a choice between deserts or asphyxiation if people choose to drive petrolpounders/gasguzzlers.

There was an article in the Detroit Free Press a few years ago in which they suggested that they would start referring to it as "Global Climate Change" rather than "Global warming"  because some places might actually get colder. It left me with the impression that they have no idea what the earth's temperature will be, but whatever happens they are convinced it must be our fault.

The average worldwide temperature will increase, but in some places it will go down.

Exactly. With more warmth, there will be more evaporation -- which means more precipitation in many areas. Now on a rainy day you'll notice it's usually cooler. Many areas that will be cooler are areas that are going to see great increases in precipitation.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/horizon/dimming_prog_summary.shtml

Your'll find the transcript of the program here.

It also says that when the amount to particals drop and the lever of CO2, expected to double (see artical). Then, according to the artical, that Ireland is going to have the climat of North Africa and parts of the Earth are going to uninhabital.

Imagin the refugee rush that's going to happen.

Don't  with nature. Our ecosystems are delicately  balanced such that even minor changes can have major consequences.

Great article.

Global warming and cooling is caused by a huge number of factors and the view most have taken in the past few years are just worrying about carbon dioxide and chloro-fluro carbons, but there are other gases out there that block solar radiation.  Volcanic gases contribute to this.  A neighbor that is an example of this is venus, most say the planet is burning up due to it's carbon dioxide levels, which is true, but the carbon dioxide layer is so thick causing pressures that would crush a car.  The layer of carbon dioxide that would toast us to a crisp would have to be immense.

The point i was making though is that the atmosphere contains a layer of hydrogen sulfide, that ends up blocking 80% of all solar radiation which cools the planet to a fraction of the possible temperatures that exist on the planet.

Don't f**ck with nature. Our ecosystems are delicately  balanced such that even minor changes can have major consequences.

Huge changes have been existing on this planet years before human beings could ever even light a fire.  Volcanoes have been dumping out more greenhouse gases than any human ever has in a day.  The earth isn't a frail ecosystem, it a system of systems that work together and have ways of balancing each other out.
