I would think Hickenlooper would get the higher vote because Buck doesn't seem as extreme/kooky as Maes or Tancredo, but the differences between local and national issues could be the reason the polls sometimes suggest the opposite.

Probably hickenlooper. about 99% of people who will vote for bennet will vote for hickenlooper. but some hickenlooper voters could stay home without voting in the senate race.
hickenlooper is a good candidate , he is popular and he has two crazy and stupid opponents.
bennet is a canidate (not good, but not bad too), he is an incumbent (---> unpopular) and he has ONE crazy but clever challenger.

It should be the Hick who goes higher but I imagine there won't be a huge difference in how they perform. Virtually all of the Buck people will vote for Tancredo or Maes.
