Lol Smiley

Fellow Dems, what do you think of a Richardson/ Edwards ticket in 2008 if we lose, 2012 if we win?

By then both of them will have alot more experience, and as I previously siad, they have alot of benefits between them.

A analyst said that richardson can not be the VP because he loves too the women...

Edwards hsa to get himself an elected position before 2012 if he's gonna be on the ticket then. A one-term senator with an unsuccessful bid for the nomination 8 yaers ago won't do well.

If he gets the VP nod and Kerry/Edwards loses, Edwards starts out 2008 in second place.  If Hillary loses her senate seat in 2006 to RUDY, he becomes the frontrunner.

That would work out great!  Lincoln can impose martial law while Debs implements Socialism...

I say either:

McCain/Giuliani
McCain/Powell
Powell/Rice
Powell/Bush (JEB)

What are your dream tickets? I just can not see Jeb Bush as president. VP yes, main man, no.

If the point is to mererly put the biggest pounding on the Dems and not ideological, I'd say McCain/Giuliani. You are threading the needle down the center as best as you could. McCain/Powell would be the runner-up ticket.

I think Chris Rock has a routine on the 1st black VP. He said it will never happen. He said that the black guy who kills the white president will be treated like a god in prison.

opebo/gustaf

not sure about the order, but I think gustaf would more likely be sober during a moment of crisis, so Gustaf/Opebo.  Nice balance.  minimal wedge issue problems.

Hah, good idea.  Though the scary thing is, I really don't drink.  Unless you meant psychologically sober.

I admit to having done this.  When I posted about a month ago that I left one blank (Guy Houston/Donna Gerber state assembly race, most negative ever!).  I lied, I actually wrote in Mickey Mouse.  Interestingly, when they showed the totals in the SF chronicle a couple of days later, the total number of votes for Houston and Gerber added up to about half of the total number in this district for other races, so apparently such negative campaigns really do annoy many voters to the point of leaving it blank, or writing in Alfred E. Newman or Mickey or whatever.

I always thought it was Alfred E. Neumann?
