Yes.

I wish they had polled the State Auditor race -- it's the only one the GOP has a shot of winning.

This is the first public poll showing Baker in the lead. I'll wait to see if another poll confirms it, but I imagine Patrick has to be feeling the heat.

Well his post suggests that the link is not yet available. Maybe he saw it on the evening news or something.

I had it wrong -- this was MassInsight, an education non-profit, that ordered the poll, not Fox News. The Boston Globe has something on it today buried in a story about Cahill:

Those numbers, however, are without leaners. Red Mass Group has the full poll, complete with crosstabs. I've yet to be able to find it somewhere else.

http://www.redmassgroup.com/diary/10327/massinsight-opinion-dynamics-poll-57-want-to-vote-against-current-member-of-congress

31 + 6 (leaners) = 37% Baker
29 + 3 (leaners) = 32% Patrick

Apparently, this is a poll of registered voters, not likely voters. And it's from the weekend, before the Cahill implosion. So ... there's that.

I was gonna say, 14% for Cahill at this point seemed like good news for Patrick, hah

In all fairness, they were probably less interested in the question of who would be governor than the stuff in the later questions about the Massachusetts educational system. The governor's race was probably thrown in there more for publicity than anything else.

I really like Karen Polito for treasurer, but that's not happening.  Steve Grossman signs are everywhere.

I like her too, but that race lacks the kind of contrast that the auditor's race has. I mean, in that one, there's no question as to what candidate has the best resume and the cleanest background. Bump's been getting torn apart in the papers for weeks now, and for good reason.

Strange, I've been inundated with dozens of Polito signs, and haven't seen a single Grossman one.
