This one is drifting in Angle's direction for a while now. Reid needs to have a great GOTV operation to have any chance at winning.

Again, I say anyone being at 50% at this race isn't going to happen, neither one really have the strength to pull that off. Without "None of These" and the Tea Party candidate being polled, these numbers miss part of the equation.

To be fair, for the Tea Party candidate, "Tea Party" isn't printed on the ballot (it's 'TP' or something), so they're not gonna get as much support as they otherwise would.

Not exactly a huge change from the last poll.

Reid needs to pull a rabbit out of his hat.

I'm not buying this one. It will be closer and no one will get 50%.

I'm now quite confident that Angle willl win this one.  The only thing holding me back is the Obama +5 polls in October of 2008 when the actual margin was Obama +12.  I would like to see an Angle +8 poll in the next couple of weeks.

Well, Reid is to be commended for keeping it close this long. He's run a top-notch campaign for a guy that everybody hates. At least Angle is destined for one term.

Rasmussen will say...

Angle 49, Reid 45 (48-44 w/o leaners).

Rasmussen will say...

Angle 49, Reid 45 (48-44 w/o leaners).

With the vote fraud shenanigans already being reported in NV, Angle will need every bit of that margin.

It looks like Nevada will go Republican, barring something crazy happening in the next week. Say hello to Senate Majority Leader Schumer!

I noticed nobody has talked much about a Majority Leader Durbin lately. He is next in line, technically. Why?

Schumer has been reaching out to the freshman Dems; he'll likely have more votes from within the caucus than Durbin.

Indeed. More than 1/3 of the caucus will have been elected while Schumer was heading the DSCC. I suspect there will be a lot of residual loyalty.

Something crazy has been happening since June, and yet Nevada still looks like it'll go Republican.

Because nobody actually expects Durbin to beat out Schumer in a leadership election.  Plus, Dems would see Schumer as a stronger Majority Leader than Durbin.

Chuck Schumer would make a great Majority Leader... for Republicans.  If you dislike Democrats, I can't think of a better arrogant, grandstanding jerk to be the face of the Democratic Party.  He won't play well in Peoria.  He'd make Nancy Pelosi look like a saint.

Exactly how I feel. I can't wait until he's leading their caucus.
