Woot! Even if he did vote against HCR

Badg,  his vote against HCR is why he's going to be re-elected in this conservative District (that's partly why I'm voting for him)  That and he doesn't have a strong challenger.  I'm just glad Mary Bitch Buchanan is out of the picture.

I am not at all persuaded that Altmire would have voted against HCR, if his vote would have tanked it. Are you Grumps?  And he voted for the stimulus, with all of that money going to public employees, when his vote was needed. Just who are the real blue dogs, and just who are the ersatz ones? I actually agree with both of you guys. I think Altmire would've supported HCR if it came down to his vote, but that's why I still like him.

That lead is big enough, George, I suspect he'd probably pull through even if he'd supported HCR, but admittedly it'd be close. In fact if he'd faced Buchanan as originally expected AND voted for HCR he'd probably now be sweating bullets in a neck and neck race. (Say what one will about Mary Beth, she would've been a stronger candidate than a no name tea bagger like Rothfus). With both in effect he'll have a relatively uncompetative reelection in an otherwise bad year for PA Dems.
