Hilarious, if true!

If this is true then Colorado is a joke state.

But the even bigger joke would be Hickenlooper.

How, exactly? It's not Hick's fault if people won't see reason.

Hickenlooper hates rural Coloradans.  He thinks they are backwards thinking rubes who are not cosmopolitan enough to not attack gays.  Typcial snooty, I-know-better-than-you contempt for the electorate from a so-called "progressive" politician.

If I live in CO and I'm brown, I'm packing just to be on the safe side.

Nah, some will think he's a fellow brown given his name Tongue

BTW, while Hickenlooper won't run any negative ads on principle, expect a flood of third party money from the left attacking Tancredo. It won't be hard to beat him down.

I think Colorado may have more stringent restrictions on such outside money for its statewide offices than other states

Colorado has strict personal donor limits - something like $400.  On the other hand, rich Colorado Democrats have been more than willing and able to get together in smoky back rooms and spend millions through 527s to put Democrats in power, especially in the state legislature.  Rich Colorado Republicans haven't played the game as well in recent previous cycles.

Money will always find a way into political campaigns - which is another reason campaign finance reform is always a complete failure (even setting aside First Amendment concerns).  Instead of candidates and parties calling the shots in Colorado, rich folks in a smoky back room do.
