Sbane is correct. The Anglo lower middle class is largely gone for the LA metro area. They started leaving in droves in the early 1990's recession (in part because the defense industry collapsed with the collapse of the Evil Empire, and then the space program was cut way back to boot), and have been decamping ever since. And to add to the GOP misery, the Anglo upper middle class became more Hollyweird and government dependent, both Dem oriented "industries." So, the GOP had better learn how to appeal to Hispanics or Asians (they are getting a lot of traction with Asians this year, and I suspect there is a good chance, they will become a GOP leaning group if economics remains the most salient issue), or they are just toast in California. Period.

Well, this is the year to prove that we're still alive in CA.  There are no excuses.  Find a way to win one of the two major statewide races.  The Governator deal is an anamoly and not a normal circumstance.
