41.5% Scott Rigell (R)
41.0% Glenn Nye (D)
  5.0% Kenny Golden (I)
12.0% Undecided

The poll, sponsored by Christopher Newport University, The Virginian-Pilot and 13 News, was conducted Oct. 15-21 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.

The CNU/Virginian-Pilot/13 News poll is based on landline and cell telephone interviews with 490 likely voters in the congressional district. It was designed by CNU’s Wason Center for Public Policy with interviews conducted by the Virginia Tech Center for Survey Research.

Yeah, the decimals are an issue here.  There was an (R) poll showing a 5 or 6 point Rigell lead though, so a tied race is at least on the surface believable.

Putting aside the obligatory "lol uni poll", I expect Nye will make it close, but I don't see how he can win. He has absolutely no presence in the district, while Rigell is everywhere. The base hates him and the independents he needs have turned on the Democrats. I'd guess it'll end up around 51-46 for Rigell.
