Yes I do. The Tea Party wing of the GOP is nothing more than a mix of the John Birch Society and Joseph McCarthy on steroids.

I agree, the GOP still is too much like the Moderate Republican Senator Joseph McCarthy. Moderates are very dangerous.
However there is little connection today between the tea party and the John Birch Society.
