This is both refreshing and surprising. I assumed Carney was finished, but he's in pretty good shape here with just a week left.

Carney is no where near finished. It's a very Republican district but Carney is a great campaigner.

A Carney win would certainly make redistricting easier for Republicans.  They could just give Carney back all of Scranton and then give Barletta Wyoming and other very Republican counties now in PA-10 to make him much safer.
