Yep. People are just fed up with bringing in tens of thousands of third world folks with no skills, educations, or cultural ties to the country they are moving to. It makes no sense why anyone in Europe accepted these refugees in the first place and it is entirely the reason why far right, often racist parties are making gains everywhere. If the left were willing to stand up for the citizens of their own countries they could make life better for everyone in those countries. Instead they are focused on being citizens of the world - as noble as that is, it is undeniably worse in terms of outcomes for your own people, as we have seen time and time again.
