I'm guessing he won't win Ingham County. He might win everything else.

Too bad that we didn't have a senate contest, this one would have been a tossup otherwise.

Meh...maybe in a Presidential year. I'm not exactly sure how many Michiganders would be rushing out to the polls to go vote for either Carl Levin (our Senate lifer) or Debbie Stabenow (not exactly Miss Popularity).

I really don't think so.

Poor Virg. Even the (usually reliably liberal) Detroit Free Press endorsed Rick Snyder.

Hate to break it to ya, buddy, but if Michigan had a senate contest this year, the GOP would be picking up the governorship and a senate seat.

Possibly true if Stabenow was up for re-election. Save for being caught in an SS uniform, Carl Levin will never, ever lose his seat under any set of circumstances or in even the worst environment. Simply not going to happen.

Didn't Debbie Stebenow poll very well when Cherry was matched up against any GOP nominee? She was leading against every GOP nominee out there in the EPIC poll. She would of got the women's vote. MI is like WA and California, they elect women to statewide office. This isn't MO.
