This vote, on October 10, was Senate business, not Con-Con business:

Yes, it relates to the Con-Con, but it was a vote taken by the Senate.

So Bacon King has until end of day TODAY to some Senate business.

I say give him until end of day (midnight).  After that, I have no more arguments.

Don't make us drag this into court, Yankee  Tongue  Thats where this will go if you pursue this, and BK will probably win.  Meantime we won't be able to hold a special election with the court case pending.

Let it go, okay?

I find the argument that 21 days means calendar days, and not 21 days to the minute, to be both compelling and reasonable.

BK, take this to court.

Yankee, why do you keep bringing up death as the real life analogy?  The recent situation is in no way similar to death.  Dead men don't come back to argue that they're not really dead.

Besides that, BK was active elsewhere in the forum during his period of Senate inactivity.  The way I read the amendment you just proposed, he would not have been removed from office by it, as Senate business is not specified.

Yankee thought the deadline had passed, and had to be shown he was wrong.
