There are pretty much four possibilities right now, Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Harry Reid (D-NV), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Charles Schumer (D-NY).

I'm thinking it will either be Sen. McConnell or Sen. Schumer, but given the "tsunami" as Wolf Blitzer calls it, I will go with Senator McConnell.

Dem hold: If the party's smart, they'll go for Schumer. That's why I'm pretty sure it's going to end up being Durbin.

Republican takeover: Self-explanatory.

I'm still betting Senate is going to be retained by the Democrats, and it's going to be either Reid, or Durbin, if Reid is unseated.
