The group who commissioned the poll are Murkowski-backers, and they mentioned Murkowski in the poll.

I know they mentioned Murkowski in the poll, still even with that the numbers seem weird, although with very little in the way of polling since the "arrest"and ethics issues have come out for Miller who knows.

No mention on Pollster that they are affiliated with Murkowski.  Where did you get that from?

Palin showing up for Miller is a good thing for Miller.  I know she is radioactive to Democrats, but she's not there hoping to convince liberals.  She's there hoping to convince wavering Miller supporters to stick with Miller.

As for the race, I thought there was no chance Murkowski could win the race as a write-in.  I'm still dubious she will receive the support she is seeing in the polls, but I would have to say she is the slight favorite.  Miller has been just a dreadful candidate.  He really does have a good resume, but he's shot himself in the foot so many times, he's just got an ankle left.

No, but the people jumping off the Miller train aren't your die hard Palin supporters. Alaskans aren't stupid.

It was mentioned when I first saw the poll on Huffington Post. The poll was commissioned by Alaskans Standing Together, a group that, if you go to their About Us page, you can see clearly supports Lisa Murkowski.

Mark Begich is quoted in Politico today as saying Miller is still the slight favorite and he went on to question the polling be done in the state right now.
