Conway destroyed his future career with the Aqua Buddha ad. He could have been remembered as the rising star Democrat who almost beat a Republican in a red state during a wave year, instead he will be remembered for putting out sleazy attack ads and being a darling of DailyKos.

Yeah, like John McCain's career was ruined because of the Britney/Paris Celebrity ad.

Exactly. McCain's ad was much more sleazy and dishonest.
I have no problem with the Aqua Buddha ad but the voters do and it was obvious that they were going to have a problem with it. The media manufactured a bunch of false outrage over the McCain ad. Nearly everyone hates the Conway ad. If Conway ever runs for higher office against a higher profile Dem in a primary, he'll have problems overcoming his "intolerant" stance on religion.
