I saw quite the change in people's views over the last few days of canvassing. Many Democrats were through with Minnick, many olds even refused to vote. The conservatives were leaning towards Labrador, even with little advertising. This is in Minnick country, where very few people had heard of Labrador and where people voted for him in solid margins in 2008.
Minnick only overperformed Obama by 4 to 5 points in this district and got wiped out in southern Idaho. The Independent candidate (Olson) probably drew more likely Minnick voters than Labrador voters.
