Well I wouldn't say they are screwed just yet, but I think it all depends on what happens to the Tea Party. Look at the Tea Party candidates in the Senate:

Paul - Won
O'Donnell - Lost
Angle - Lost
Raese -  Lost
Miller - Will have lost when everything is counted
Buck - Same as Miller

Four of those seats Republicans should have had no problem winning in this enviorment. So the Republicans should be worried about the Tea Party in the future. If the Tea Party survives and continues to primary out sane Republicans with loonys that could create a real problem for them.

Rubio is a tea party candidate.

The reason that I don't consider Runio and Toomey as Tea Party candidates are quite simple, they didn't run as Tea Party candidates, they began planing to primary Specter and Crist long before anyone had heard of a Tea Party movement, and they would have won said primaries without the Tea Party movement.

Rubio thanked the tea party, what are you talking about?
