This means the CDU - or even CDU+FDP - actually marginally gained in raw votes, btw.

Is it me, or does the FDP look really weak in the districts that were already counted ?

They lost more than half or up to 60% of their 2006 share in almost all districts so far.

The Schuldenbremse seems to have passed disappointingly easily - probably a tad over 70%. Oh well. Most places are counting that first, apparently.
Frankfurt's election site is down. Wiesbaden has no results up yet.
Offenbach is over half in, so I'll just post that.

CDU 27.5 (-4.3)
SPD 26.2 (-7.2)
Greens 23.5 (+11.3)
Left 7.4 (+1.2)
REP 4.1 (-0.2)
FDP 3.9 (-3.7)
Pirates 2.8 (+2.8)
FW 2.3 (-0.3)
FNO (who?) 2.2 (+2.2)

Remember that that's only unchanged ballots - on these kind of results, the order of the first three parties is wholly up in the air.
Also, doesn't look as if local issues mattered at all. Lol. The city's got a traffic light coalition currently.

Wow.

On 29.6 of the vote (+15.0). CDU 28.4 (-10.2), SPD 27.9 (-1.5). Lol. Trainwreck result. Turnout 61.7 (+13.5).

We have our first completed RhP constituency: Donnersberg.

SPD 41.5 (-7.5)
CDU 28.5 (+2.4)
Greens 13.7 (+9.2)
FDP 3.8 (-3.5)
Left 3.5 (-0.6)
Turnout 62.2 (+2.8)

SPD still does worse on the direct vote than the list vote. Lol.

SPD retains Mannheim I, but the FDP is cut to about 1/3 of their 2006 vote there.

The Greens are also likely to win the city of Stuttgart with about 35% of the vote, the CDU has 31%.

A few rural municipalities now in, but these are places where few people left their ballots unchanged and Greens don't run for the municipal council. The only thing you can talk about is turnout, which pretty much cross the board seems to be down marginally on the previous record low.

Well, Mainhausen qualifies as outer suburban (southeast of Hanau on the south bank of the river).

Turnout 49.9 (+2.4)
40.9 unchanged ballots
SPD 56.6 (+11.2)
CDU 26.9 (-10.6)
UWG 11.7 (+6.0)
FDP 4.8 (-6.6)

Gotta love the randomness of municipal voting patterns. This is not a "red" town in state or federal elections.

Stuttgart II is another very narrow Green gain.

With just 240 precincts missing, RhP is SPD 35.9, CDU 35.2, Greens 15.3, FDP 4.2, Left 3.0.

Darmstadt mayoral election, 84 out of 117 precincts:

Jochen Partsch, Green, 36.3
Walter Hoffmann, SPD, incumbent, 29.9
Rafael Reißer, CDU, 26.5
The SPD has held the post uninterrupted since 1945. There'll be a runoff between the top two finishers.
