52% of the party list vote already counted in Berlin:

27.7 SPD
23.2 CDU
17.3 Greens
11.9 Left
  9.7 Pirates
  2.1 NPD
  1.9 FDP
  1.5 TSP
  1.3 PRO
  1.0 Freedom

All others below 1%

TSP = Tierschutzpartei, the Animal Rights Party I mentioned.
PRO = Pro Deutschland and FREIHEIT (Freedom/Liberty) are basically softcore-Nazis.

Loads of people didn't take this election seriously it seems. I'm really pissed that Red-Red lost it's majority because of them Sad

I'm glad that the communists are out of the Berlin government, but the result of the pirates is ridiculous.

the result of the fdp is far out.

Ah the Pirate Party, gotta love it. My favourite  one-issue party. Let's hope they're not a one-election wonder as they were in Sweden. Tongue

In terms of being the strongest party, the SPD gains the districts of Lichtenberg and Marzahn-Hellersdorf from the Left Party, but looses Tempelhof-Schöneberg to the CDU and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg to the Greens.

The SPD holds Mitte, Treptow-Köpenick and Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.

Spandau, Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Neukölln and Pankow are not projected yet. Pankow should go SPD, Steglitz-Zehlendorf and Spandau CDU, Neukölln could go either way.

Edit: The CDU is ahead in Neukölln. Pankow still not projected, but the SPD should win there.

Eh, as protest votes go it's not so bad. Irritating on many levels, I suppose, but not Nazis or anything.

Oh, and time for more Magick.

all nazis together make up to about 4,5%. that's about 3% too much.

Yes. Agree 100%.

I'm very happy that voting for idiots like the Pirates is becoming the "cool" thing to do. Seriously. If that's what it takes to get the youth away from the Nazis, so be it.

And of course....I'm very pleased that the Pirates have prevented the red-red government from being able to continue! Smiley
