Exactly how I would have imagined these new MPs.

Like you take a selection out of people on this forum ... Wink

Dirk Behrendt (Greens) won Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg 2 with 49.8%.

Dammit, so close to an absolute majority. Tongue

Oh, Berlin managed to beat Quebec NDP for the most random crop of candidates elected.

Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg list vote is all counted up.

Greens 30.2 (+3.6)
SPD 23.9 (-6.2)
Pirates 14.7 (+14.7)
Left 13.0 (-3.8)
CDU 8.4 (-0.3)
PARTEI 2.2 (+2.2)
BIG 1.4 (+1.4)
Animal Rights 1.2 (+0.4)
NPD 1.0 (-0.3)
FDP 1.0 (-3.1)

Doesn't mention turnout. Also doesn't list exact votes, so I don't know if the FDP came 9th or 10th.

Whats this string of SPD-districts in the 1st vote, running from the North-West to the center of Berlin and that is surrounded by hardcore CDU-area ?

Rügen count is complete.

Direct vote
SPD 25.7, Left 23.5, FDP 14.9, Green 14.2, CDU* 13.3, NPD 4.6, FW 3.7
List vote
Greens 24.8, SPD 22.4, CDU 19.0, Left 18.9, FDP 5.5, NPD 5.4

Pretty good result for the Left... given that they called on their supporters to vote Green. Cheesy

SPD 27.55
CDU 17.85
Left 14.27
Greens 6.71
NPD 4.62

So it's confirmed, Greens nick a seat from the SPD (and the SPD direct candidate also nicks a seat from the SPD list, so two social democrats lost their preliminary seat today.)

Suburban estateland (plus personal vote maybe, a similar district in Reinickendorf is held by the CDU), then the urban core of Spandau, then two districts of weird industrial and recreational land with populated enclaves at many spots in between.

Where are you getting the results for the smaller parties from?

On wahlen-berlin.de I only see the results for the SPD/CDU/Greens/Left/FDP.

Where can I find the number of votes on the Berlin page ?

Also, turnout is missing.

I want to know if the FDP or the NPD got more votes in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, both have 1.0%.

I assume you'll get all that, and the individual precincts, in one big data dump after the final results are in.

I suppose Rösler's tenure as FDP federal chairman will be over if/when the FDP gets kicked from the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament next May as well. At the latest.

Question is whether they gonna sacrifice Westerwelle (as foreign minister) during the coming week.

Who would take over ? Christian "Barney" Lindner ?

Perhaps.

Then again, he could probably stab Rösler in the back at any time he wants. Lindner is just smart enough to know that it would be a really bad idea to become FDP chairman himself in the current situation. So maybe he props up another fall guy next May. Rösler has Lindner's unwaivering loyalty because Rösler draws all the fire.

So, although this still incomplete and just off direct votes, it looks as though the best SPD ward will be Spandau 3, the CDU's Reinickendorf 6, the Greens Freidrichshain-Kreuzberg 2, and the Left's Marzahn-Hellersdorf 1.

Huh, why is the Left leading in Mitte 3 all of the sudden? Doesn't make any sense. Is it possible that someone mistakingly entered the data for Mitte 2 into Mitte 3?

No, pretty sure it's teh former. It's also in the tables, and the SPD is only just behind though in third place.

The Left wouldn't win 26.5% in Mitte 3 either (which is the current result for SPD there). It's a West Berlin district where the Left had 5% last time.
