The ever-conniving fascists of the south, puppets of the American Empire, received their just deserts as the glorious People's Army of the DPRK fired Artillery shells over the western border into the puppet regime occupying southern Korea.  4 south Korean soldiers were injured in this triumph.  This event came in light of the revelation of a new nuclear plant providing electricity to workers across DPRK, showing strength even in the face of treacherous capitalist imperialist encirclement.

The shelling of Yeonpyeong Island will send a powerful message to the traitorous fascist puppets of south Korea that the DPRK will not be intimidated.

But the North Korean news site just told me that militarism is bad. Who to believe now?

Well, I made up a rule that there is no war if there isn't at least a part who really wants it, those escalation things don't work if this condition isn't present. Does one of the Koreas really want war...?

CNN International, Sky and BBC World are covering this.

I noticed CNN America got small news breaks... obviously not big enough to get Fox to drag itself away from stories about dog shows...

Only if the DPRK have completely lost the plot. The likely result of a war for them is the collapse of the regime.

Yeah... I don't get any of those (do they even offer Sky on any American cable lineups?) with my apartment-provided cable.

There's a good chance that Kim's actually dead and they've been concealing it.  Saber-rattling to the point of imminent war is a good way for the hardliners to keep power in the inevitable succession struggle after he passes.  (Not about Kim Jong-Un, but about which faction will control him.)

Kim Jong-Un is the lardass in black)

I believe it was intended as an apology for being an evil empire.

Not sure, for whenever I have tried cheering myself by embracing folly, my mind still guides me with wisdom.

No one appreciated my OP.  I worked so hard to get the "N. Korean propaganda voice" down.  Sad

Also, at least 1 South Korean confirmed dead in the shelling.

EDIT: 2 confirmed dead.
