Nonintervention, the only halfway-decent option on that list.

Some combination of the first three...leaning towards 'liberal'.  Voted liberal.

We shouldn't go around sticking our dick in whatever pie we want to, especially not for economic gains.  On the other hand, the US (and the West as a whole) have some responsibility to assist those getting screwed over by the local sh**t head with the biggest dick.  Especially since we often supported that guy during the Cold War by selling (or giving) him guns to make sure the Commies didn't offer him a better deal.

NOTA. Closer to nonintervention than any of the above so I voted that. Closer to liberal in reality, but not that ridiculous definition you have including Reagan.

You didn't use Wilson in any of the definitions? That's a bit of a surprise. He should be included in te "Liberal internationalism" box you have, since you use his quote and everything.

As for the question, whatever is practical at the current time. I'm more of a realist then an idealit, so it is a bit of a combination of the first three, but as much moral values should also be infused into a foriegn policy, even if that is currently impossible.

I'm probably more of an non-interventionist then most in the government, but I don't consider myself one. I have yet to vote in the poll, but I do not really fit into any of the definitions provided.

None of the above. We don't attack you if you don't attack us. If you attack us, you'll regret it.

Kinda the point of the "Don't Tread on Me" flag.

Washington was no more a non-interventionist in foreign policy than G W Bush was a conservative in fiscal policy.  He spoke the talk, but only as a cover for what he was really after.  In Washington's time as President, if America had gotten involved in European affairs it would have been on the side of the French, and Washington and the other Federalists were no fans of Revolutionary France.

Yeah, Washington's famous "non-interventionist" farewell address was really just a very partisan attack on the Democratic-Republicans and their Francophile/anti-British policies.

Liberal, which of course doesn't in any way include Reagan.

I am an internationalist. Take from that what you may.

Yeah, Washington's famous "non-interventionist" farewell address was really just a very partisan attack on the Democratic-Republicans and their Francophile/anti-British policies.

Also an attempt to cover his ass after his foreign policy failures as President.

Yeah. I voted "NeoConservative", then I saw the definitions. It seems like "Liberal" in this is basically what I always thought was NeoConservative.

...thank you.

A Liberal foreign policy does NOT include the imposition of democracy... and Kennedy and Reagan's foreign policy don't really compare.
