Early days but the TSA storyline (and it has been handled) is encouraging; and the budgetary effort displays considerable commitment by the new GM. Best of luck to him.

Unlike most of previous GMs (excluding Purple State, of course), Badger is trying to take the job seriously and, so far, succeeds

Blunt but constructive criticism and/or suggestions are invited here, folks. (As is adulation if you simply have to , but I'll learn more from suggestions.)

The TSA story and implementation of the budget are just the beginning. After being severely limited to internet access for most of October, and then pulling double duty at work to cover an attorney on paternity leave for another 2 1/2 weeks, I feel like I'm only in my second week on the job where I could be a "full-time" GM. Still, I maintained consistent activity even during that period and was able to shepard the budget into being (thanks again to Committee members for their work). The only real loss was not being able to start any storylines until last week.

Working with Hash and Dr. Cynic, I'm highly optimistic and excited about the future of the office.

Now if people ever stop saying "well, he's still no Purple State", then I'll know I've made it.
