Canada and Mexico have vast natural resources, and there could be advantages of such a union, but in all liklihood they would have exceptions as a precondition to such a union. And they would not want to be colonies anyway. Also, the empire seems already to be straining under its own weight, so adding large colonies does not make sense at this time. And equal-rights unions force us to accept their terms, so that wouldn't make sense either.

I do not believe that this exists. no such thing as "free internet" exists. all attempts at organization come at a measurable, finite entropy cost to the universe. the government may decide to use its revenue to provide such communications. As for the wikileaks, I don't know enough about it. Lots of folks are saying it's espionage, but I'm not sure. I'm not a lawyer, so I really have no expert opinion.
