1. Should the government should prohibit gun ownership by private citizens?  no

2. Should Marijuana should be legalized?  yes

3. Should the death penalty be abolition?  yes  (I'll assume you meant "abolished")

4. Should the government control, regulate, and ban video games, including banning video game sales to teens?  no

5. Should we pull our troops out of Afghanistan?  yes.  well most.  advisors should remain, if requested by the local government, along with a small group of elite special forces given the authority to kill with impunity

6. Should abortion be legal or illegal?  legal

7. Should stem cell research be legal?  legal

8. Should criminals who sexually assault and/or rape children under the age of 13 be killed, castrated, chemically castrated, or simply imprisoned and registered as a sex offender?  if convicted, they should be imprisoned and receive counseling.  the guy in this article should also receive counseling

9. Should the police get money directly from tickets or should ticket money be put in with other government spending?  no.  nor should they have quotas for citations

10. Should the police have a monthly/weekly quota of tickets that they must meet?  ah, that was the next question.  I should have predicted that.  well, anyway, no.

11. Should we stop Iran's nuclear weapons program?  I do not think it is possible to do this.

12. Should we liberate North Korea and install a peaceful democratic government?  I do not think it is possible to do this.

13. Should the government give money to failing businesses in order to keep them from going bankrupt?  no.

14. Should the government control the economy (command economy), should the government never intervene in the economy (laissez-faire), or should the government intervene in the economy only when it is necessary (mixed economy)?  no.

15. Should lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered individuals be given equal rights as straight individuals?  yes

16. Should we pull our forces out of Iraq?  most.  advisors should remain, if requested by Iraq, along with a small group of elite special forces given the authority to kill with impunity

17. Should gay marriage be legalized?  yes

18. Should we recognize the independent nation of Kosovo?  no

19. Should we recognize the independent nation of Azerbaijan?  maybe

20. Should we recognize the independent nation of Jonathanland?  maybe

21. Should we recognize the independent nation of South Ossetia?  no

22. Should Puerto Rico become a US state, become and independent country, or remain a US territory?  only if it wants to.  according to the most recent poll, only about 40 percent want it to become a state and only about five percent want it to be a separate country.  The majority of puertoricans want the status quo, so it should remain a commonwealth of the United States.

23. Should Guam become a US state, become and independent country, or remain a US territory?  see above

24. Should American Samoa become a US state, become and independent country, or remain a US territory?  see above

25. Should the US Virgin Islands become a US state, become and independent country, or remain a US territory?  see above

26. Should the US Minor Outlying Islands become US states, become and independent countries, or remain US territories? see above

27. Should we make Iraq a US state?  no

28. Should we make Afghanistan a US state?  no

29. Do you think WikiLeaks should get shutdown?  yes

30. Should the government minimize it's military spending?  yes

31. Should the government make stronger efforts to stop illegal immigration, especially from Mexico?  It is not possible to stop illegal immigration, especially from mexico.

32. Should citizens of the District of Columbia be granted full voting rights?  yes

33. Should New York City become it's own state, an independent country, or remain part of New York?  remain as is

34. Should the United States create a North American Union with Canada? If so should we allow Mexico to join?  depends heavily on the terms.  Canada and Mexico have vast natural resources, and there could be advantages of such a union, but in all liklihood they would have exceptions as a precondition to such a union.  And they would not want to be colonies anyway.  Also, the empire seems already to be straining under its own weight, so adding large colonies does not make sense at this time.  And equal-rights unions force us to accept their terms, so that wouldn't make sense either.

35. Should the government censor books, movies, and other entertainment mediums?    no.  and more than one medium would be called "media"

36. Should it be made illegal to deny that the Holocaust happened or to claim that the government is responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks?  no.  In fact, too much speech is already being made illegal in the name of political correctness.  Madison must be rolling over in his grave.

37. Should the government offer free broadband internet to all citizens, like Finland does?  I do not believe that this exists.  no such thing as "free internet" exists.  all attempts at organization come at a measurable, finite entropy cost to the universe.  the government may decide to use its revenue to provide such communications.  This may be justifiable.  I'd have to study the costs and benefits before answering that.

38. Should the government increase it's power to enforce internet laws and put a stop to internet crimes?  well, that'd obviously be one of the costs associated with a "yes" answer to #37.  If the government owns it, then it can justifiably regulate it.  My intuition tells me that it's not a good idea.

39. Should the government shutdown 4chan, just /b/, or neither?  no

40. Should 13 year olds be given universal suffrage?  no.  The voting age, in fact, should be raised to about 30.

41. Should the drinking age be lowered to atleast 18?  yes.  the drinking age should be lowered, even below 18 probably.

42. Should church and state remain separate?  yes

43. Should we allow a mosque to be built next to Ground Zero?  yes, if someone wants to build one, obtains the permits, and pays for it.  It should be noted that there is no current plan to do this.  There is, however, a plan to build an Islamic cultural center a few blocks from Ground Zero.  This should be allowed as well.

44. Should the government offer free healthcare?  no.  Again, nothing is free.  But especially no to this one.

45. Should the government offer free college/university education?  nothing is free.  The government may want to consider adding taxpayer-funded, post-secondary education to its public schooling, but that's a state matter, to be decided by the People through their legislatures on a state-by-state basis.

46. Should tobacco be made illegal?  no

47. Should alcohol be made illegal again?  no

48. Should the government keep secrets from and lie to it's citizens?  probably

49. Should classified and top secret documents be declassified?  some should be.  not others

50. Should the government take greater steps to promote political awareness among teens, so they know how to make better informed political decisions?  yes.  again, the states should, as it falls under public educational policy.

51. Should public schools bring back the ability to beat their students and force them to wear school uniforms?  no to the corporal punishment.  up to states regarding uniforms.

52. Should we allow weapons in space?  definitely

53. Should the United States join the International Criminal Court?  yes, in fact we should probably control it.

54. Should the age of consent be lowered to 13?    ooh, that's tough.  it's artificially high now, but 13 is really getting low I think.

55. Should Julian Assange be tried in court for sexually assaulting (and raping) women and for releasing top secret government and military documents to the public?  rape charge is none of my business.  that's between his lawyers and the swedish authority.  As for the wikileaks, I don't know enough about it.  Lots of folks are saying it's espionage, but I'm not sure.  I'm not a lawyer, so I really have no expert opinion.

56. Should NASA work harder to accomplish goals such as making first contact, building space ships, and colonizing other planets?  definitely.  At least in theory, but they just don't have the budget, and we probably can't afford it.

57. Should NASA set-up a colony on Mars using their proposed one-way trip system?  see above

58. Should nuclear weapons be banned globally?  I do not think this is possible.

59. Should nuclear power be actively used in the United States?  yes

60. Should teenagers (from 13 to 19) be given the same rights and privileges as adults?  no

61. Should we allow private military contractors to continue to exist?  yes

62. Should the government and military work to help stop and prevent genocides, civil wars, and other atrocities happening around the world, such as in Africa?  probably, but it's expensive and I'm not sure we can afford it.  Also, it becomes politically motivated and we start playing favorites and it gets to be an intractable mess and we end up sending thousands of young American men and women to die for causes that most Americans know nothing about.

63. Should research into cloning be conducted?    yes

64. Should we close the Guantanamo Bay prison?  maybe

65. Should Guantanamo Bay become a US state?  no

66. Should the United States become imperialist again, but this time we make the places we conquer become permanent US states?  I'd vote no

67. Should the world unite under a democratic world government that is just like the United States, but governs the entire world?  I don't think the world wants that, and I don't think that we have the moral authority or the economic ability to push for that.
