Uber American, in that he has caught the American dream, and is running with it, and may be an "all American" materialist to boot. Smiley

America is an idea more than anything else. If we ever lose the "idea" we are in deep trouble.

100%, in a way I am not really. I am more of a Tory, and favor a Parliamentary system among other things. I also think about 80% of this American "exceptionalism" thing is due to a mix of hype and luck, and really dislike the hubris of some of my fellow citizens that is derived from this. Americans are less exceptional, than they are lucky. And it looks like that luck may be running out, if we don't get our act together, and soon. Good luck to you youngs. I mean that. I'm worried.
