Ha ha! The best part is she's probably even dumb enough to run, especially if her district is carved up.

Why is some random State Rep who didn't run for re-relection polling 4% and beating Paulsen?

Interesting how the GOP can run electable "generic Republican" candidates for the House but has to go and find the most outrageous nutters possible for Senate.

Yes, but if she runs and loses, Bachmann will be out of a job in January 2013.

Not to mention how fun it would be to watch her TV ads attacking Klobuchar.

Well, no, but Michelle Bachmann's landslide defeat would be fun to see.

Remember FL-Sen 2006? Michelle Bachmann would be the new Katherine Harris.

Can we save Bachmann for Franken please?

1. That'd be arguably the most entertaining U.S. Senate race ever.
2. It'd virtually assure Franken's re-election.

Yeah, Rep. Bachmann vs. Senator Franken would give Christine O'Donnell or Alvin Greene a run for their money.

Anyway, Bachmann is becoming a folk hero on the far right: she may lose to Kolbuchar in 2012, and then run against Franken in 2014, in which case we'll get a double feature Smiley

After the drubbing Kobuchar gives her she'll never win the nomination in 14. The best cae scenario is nutty lady narrowly loses the primary to someone who gets beat slightly less badly in the 2012 general election, then she gives up whatever Fox News or reality show gig she gets to win the nomination in 2014.

I too would pay money watch the debate.

Though Bachmann is pretty extreme, she's actually pretty smart.  So no Senate run for her.  Maybe Governor in 2014, after Dayton inevitably humiliates himself.

She must not be too smart if she's considering running for President. I cannot see her winning a statewide race in her home state, let alone winning the Republican/Tea Party nomination, which her looney sister Sarah Palin is all but guaranteed to clinch ..or well, HOPEfully.

Bachmann's anti-Klobuchar ads probably wouldn't be any less embarrassing than Mark Kennedy's were.

Bachmann can't win a statewide election in Minnesota, just like Dennis Kucinich can't win a statewide election in Ohio no matter how bad Kasich does.
