Rubio, Haley, and Paul didn't poll highly originally either. As far as I see it, Sarah Steelman is one of the best candidates the Tea Party could get behind. She is qualified, doesn't come off as a lunatic, fought the Republican establishment in her state, and has solid fiscal conservative credentials. She hopefully will be leading Talent by the time the primary comes around. Missouri is a case like Florida where a Tea Party candidate could actually be better than the establishment choice.

Its possible. We won't know for quite some time. She sure did give Hulshof a run for his money in the 2008 primary for Governor.

I'd like for Steelman to get the nomination, and I'm not even associated with the Tea Party. She seems to carry herself pretty well, and could certainly unseat McCaskill.
