Who would win?

I think that it would be one of the greatest elections in U.S. History.

(R-FL) Sen. Marco Rubio
(D-NY) Gov. Andrew Cuomo

Small spoiler: My TL's '16 matchup will be:

R: Bobby Jindal/Rick Snyder
D: Tim Kaine/Amy Klobuchar

Opinions?

I'n inclined to think that the Republicans would defeat the Democrats in all three matchups, although it would likely be a close election. Reason being that after eight years of being in power, many voters like a change (1960, 1968, 1976, 2000, 2008), and another reason being that Rubio and Jindal are both very charismatic, and while Cuomo is, I do not think he's on their level. Plus, it would be another example of "passing the torch" from one generation to another, like Kennedy in 1960 or Clinton in 1992, as Rubio and Jindal are much younger then Cuomo and Kaine.

Although, I have nothing to go on since we haven't even finished (or even really started, for that matter) the 2012 election, and who knows how that will turn out. Plus with all the unpredictable events in the future.

Rubio could win if Obama has an unsuccessful 2nd term and the Democrats are in the dumps

I don't think Rubio would run or even win the primary.

Coumo will likely win because there are more Italian voters than Hispanic voters.

I'd put my money on Rubio in this match-up although, much like in 2000, Cuomo would be the more responsible choice obviously.
