Delaware: February 8th

Republican: 12 delegates
Goldwater 43%-5 delegates
McCain 37%-4 delegates
Buchanan 15%-2 delegates
Engler 5%-1 delegate

Senator Goldwater states "Thank you Delaware.  I appreciate the win.  We still need to win more primaries over the next few weeks or so."

Engler states he will stay in the race until Michigan votes on February 22nd.

Total delegates so far:
Goldwater-22 delegates
McCain-20 delegates
Buchanan-7 delegates
Engler-5 delegates

Senator Goldwater thanks his supporters here in SC.  MI Governor John Engler states "Tonight wasn't a surprise.  However in 3 days we will shock the party and win Michigan."

This contest there was no delegates up for grabs.

MI Governor John Engler decides he may drop out before the Super Tuesday Primaries on March 7th as he hasn't got much traction since Michigan.  Wait and see what happens.
