(Left out Vladimir Putin because his actions aren't a response, they are an invasion.)

This is one of Biden's few good things thus far, and Zelensky has been surprisingly competent too.

As for Jinping, just not condoning is enough.

Everyone else I don't have enough info about for an opinion.

Voting on basis of national interests of the countries in question, I voted Approve in all cases. Contrary to my expectations, sanctions have done a good enough job to earn a passing grade, while it's not in the interests of India to turn against Russia wholesale, limiting their ability to have a pro-Ukrainian position, so I approve of Modi's as well.
It is for the best if India can sell itself as an honest dealer. It's a much better fair dealer than Belarus is, anyway.
Xi Jinping also gets credit for balancing China's links to the West and its alliance with Russia.

Strong approve:
- Volodymyr Zelensky (preparation to the invasion could've been better, but his reaction to the invasion was amazing moral and military leadership, and he's been playing the media game fantastically).
- Joe Biden (a few strong flaws such as too much emphasis on loudly promising not to send troops to Ukraine and "excusing" a small invasion, but he's overall been very forceful and effective in uniting the world against Russia and doing as much as possible without risking nuclear war).
- Boris Johnson (strongest flaw has been a lack of receptiveness, as far as I heard, to Ukrainian refugees. Otherwise, very good global leadership and a welcome forceful weight).

Approve:
- Ursula von der Leyen (don't know much about her personally, but despite a slow start the EU has risen to the challenge in an unprecedented way, and I truly think it's the union's finest hour yet).
- Emmanuel Macron (not forceful enough at first, but his diplomatic efforts to prevent it, and since Putin actually invaded he hasn't looked back and joined the global response.

Weak approve:
- Olaf Scholz- the refusal to send arms to a country under a clear threat, and the harming of the united European front before the invasion, are inexcusable. However, I appreciate the turnaround on both the response and sanctions and the general defense policy. Still needs to prove himself in the coming days.

Weak disapprove:
- Naftali Bennet (bonus)- Israel's fetish for "security interests" caused it to miss forcefully joining the most impressive democratic pushback against evil since WW2. This is actually a big mistake for Israel's interests to be part of the free world, its soft power and its alliances. I don't think we should've been extremely militaristic, but if we at least joined the efforts it's not like Russia would start shooting down Israeli aircraft in Syria. The response has improved, with direct condemnations of Russia and humanitarian aid, and the Foreign Ministry has been one of the most effective in the world in helping Israeli citizens in the warzone, but the lack of military assistance and the meek wording of condemnations has been cowardly.

Disapprove:
- Xi Jinping- obviously, the willingness to support both the Russian invasion and its economy are evil. However, China has been less supportive of the evil Russian actions than I expected, and don't seem willing to pick up their economy.

Strong disapprove:
- Narenda Modi- without any real geopolitical or economic reasons, Modi has been absolutely atrocious and refuses to put his country in the global coalition of free countries.

Volodymyr Zelensky (Ukraine): Strongly approve
Joe Biden (US): Lean approve
Ursula von der Leyen (EU): Lean approve
Boris Johnson (UK): Strongly approve
Xi Jinping (China): Strongly disapprove
Emmanuel Macron (France): Lean disapprove
Olaf Scholz (Germany): Lean disapprove
Narendra Modi (India): Strongly disapprove

Andriy! Glad to see you're doing alright. Your opinion on this is obviously the most important in this thread. Do you think Macron and Scholz, who started very weak before the invasion, have done enough now to redeem themselves? If not, what do you think they need to do to make up for their previous weakness?

Ukraine must be accepted into the EU immediately and Ukraine must be provided with as many weapons of any kind as we need to defend our country.

Sorry, I can't and don't want to write in detail. I think you understand me

Of course. Good luck out there, I'm not a religious person but I'm deeply hoping that you and your country will end up fine. You're the shield of the free world and all of our democratic ideals.

I like Nigel Farage and Eric Zemmour's responses to it, although they aren't exactly world leaders.

And the latter had to get a former MoDem presidential candidate to organize a effort to get him enough nomination to be on the ballot lol.

Zelenskyy needs to be mentioned in particular. He's showing extreme courage and is an inspiration.

Beyond approve, Churchillian: Zelenskyy
Approve: EU Lady and Biden
Meh: UK
Disapprove: France (FM's comments are the reason Putin put nuclear forces on high alert), India (Bad, but not the worst), China (They aren't propping up the Russian economy, and although they are evil I'm fine with Russia becoming tribute state to China).

I do like Joe Biden's approach to war abroad.

Don't do it. Don't get involved. Don't antagonise.

It's q great position to negotiate from.

The US Corporate World can cause more problems for a country now than any tank or missile.

Shutting down the banking and credit systems of a country remotely is a remarkable development.

Approve on all except Narendra Modi. Don't think I have to explain any of the western leaders, they've all ranged from good to outstanding.

I'm giving Xi Jinping a pass because neutrality and "grave concern" is about the best one can expect from China. It's an incredibly low bar but I guess China does clear it.

Disapprove on Modi since I'd expect India to be much more alligned with the West on this issue. One of the biggest surprised to me
