You look like a guy I knew in high school (sort of a proto-hipster, in that he would be obviously labeled a hipster these days but that term wasn't yet very widely used, at least not where I lived, in 2007/2008) who had a stereotypically Irish last name but was something like 1/8 Mexican, and so he put himself down as Hispanic on his college apps and got into Swarthmore (though UChicago was his first choice). His sister was cute but looked just like a feminized version of him so it was weird.

ed: According to Facebook he now looks like a super bro-y douche and works at T. Rowe Price as some sort of financial analyst.

Replace Swarthmore with Reed and Irish with German and that's me; creepy.

Christ dude, I was a hipster in the very early 1990s, even hints of it about '89.  Of course then it was pretty much just me, and it wasn't anywhere near so 'defined'.  Or maybe it was something else that just looked a bit similar..
