I would have voted to save Inglis instead of Ciro had I known he would be in danger Sad  I should've seen it coming.  Grayson making it this far is making me very sad Sad Tongue

I know people have ideological problems with Grayson, but otherwise, I am clueless as to why he should be eliminated before comparatively boring guys like Pomeroy and Space. I find him more interesting, controversial, provocative than nearly any other (former) US Representative, and hence I've voted for the past ten rounds or so with the intention of keeping him around.

Yeah, I'm trying to save him because he is interesting and with all the Bachmanns and Palins in politics it's actually refreshing to have someone like that for the left (well, the American left at least, he wouldn't be that much out of place here for instance Tongue). It's not like the democratic party is full of people like him and there is an epidemic going on. I think it's interesting to have people like him or Kucinich around and the fact that they get support shows that there is a part of the population that agrees with them and why shouldn't the “crazies” be represented in congress too? And again the democratic party is pretty centrist overall so i don't see how this guy can really present any danger.

Plus he has been criticized for the “Taliban Dan” ad (or whatever they called it), but maybe I'm completely out of touch, but isn't lying or taking quotes out of context a regular feature in political TV Ad's? I'm sure that if you go to any factcheck website you will find plenty of examples of politicians from both parties blatantly lying or exaggerating positions. Why is Grayson so special to receive more hate than others? Especially when it is common in politics all over the world.

And yes, this list has been from the start mostly a grouping of blue dogs and other conservative democrats who are as boring as watching paint dry, but thankfully the survivor has been very interesting so far in regards to the voting and i quite like the top 6 (except Space who has somehow managed to stay till this point Tongue)

As an Ohio resident, I at least have a reason for protecting Space.  Although Space was a conservative Democrat, he was one of the few blue-dogs who always seemed like a genuinely decent guy, as opposed to most of them who are either opportunists or corporate meat puppets.  That makes him interesting, imo.  Grayson deserved to make it far, but he shouldn't have outlasted Bob Inglis, Baron Hill, or Patrick Murphy.  Honestly, I'm pretty indifferent to Ciro, I gave him a sympathy vote last round b/c he got screwed over by both the GOP and Cueller in 2004.  Pomeroy threatened not to run for reelection if the healthcare bill didn't get dropped or passed quickly b/c it was hurting him in North Dakota so he should go soon.  I don't know what on earth Cao is doing here Tongue  Perriello deserves to win, imo.

If someone were to, I don't know, cast all their votes to axe Cao and keep Grayson, Grayson might have a slightly improved chance of surviving. Grin

(Although losing Cao would be a shame, too.)
You could use Space instead; would also work out.

Cao should really go before Space!

I would have liked Zack to win this Grin.
But it's clearly a lost cause.
Pomeroy is pretty funny (and it's ND, I like these AL seats) and Perriello is interesting... well, it's not easy at all.

So...

Joseph Cao
Tom Perriello

(Vazdul, I think that, with Hans, you're the most rigorous in your management of survivors and, with homelycooking and Hans and maybe me (Tongue), the one who creates the most interesting ones; so, that's a real pleasure to vote in them;
but it's indeed a bit frustrating to eliminate 3 out of the top 5, especially after long preliminary stages, with a lot of... "energy" spent to push our favourites and to kill others;
but, of course, that's only a personal opinion Wink, you're completely free of your rules;
just that I concur with Lewis' comment)

It'll be ironic if Space loses this round by one vote.
