Actually, my disdain for Gallup is nonpartisan. The Vorlon actually listed a week or so back Gallup's abysmal state predictions.

The presidents approval rating is almost always high following an election. In a few months, unless Bush performs above expectations, it'll be back to where it was before November.

If he does the stuff he campaigned on, he'll have an approval rating in the mid- 60s.
