New Election: 2010 Minnesota State Auditor General Election Results

This is a pretty good example of a true even election in Minnesota. Very close, no IP, third parties aren't huge, and low-profile so it was largely voted on partisanship.

Interesting that Otto didn't carry Winona county.

College turnout basically sucked throughout Minnesota. My alma matter of Blue Earth County also barely voted for Otto by less than two points (hmmm Nicollet was stronger Dem than we were. That almost never happens.) and the student housing precincts were pretty anemic even for Dayton. Big drop even compared to 2006.
