- Here you can take out an option on an idea of survivor, so that other forumers don't "steal" the idea (Wink).

Options are valid for 2 months: during these 2 months, only the forumer who has taken out the option is authorized to manage the corresponding survivor.
If not used, the option can be renewed only after 1 more month.

- What is more, for off-topic survivors, there is a waiting list, where you must put down your idea of off-topic survivor.

Only the first 5 of the list can be run at the same time and one forumer can't manage more than 2 off-topic survivors at any given time.

- If the idea of a survivor is stolen, it will be deleted.
If an off-topic survivor is started too early, I'll lock it.

Done.

But if you want to start immediately, it's OK, as hughento and Edu haven't answered to my PM asking them if they launch their own ideas.

Hughento, Edu, if you have changed your mind, just shout Wink.

I'd probably be in.

If you want to start it now, it's OK, as Mr X's Stephen King seems indeed not to have a great success.

On the 5th of March, when Edu's option will fall, or before if homely's or my off-topic survivors are finished, you'll be able to start your own, Hans.

(I'm not sure to be in, as I wouldn't know how to vote Wink. It would be on "bad" criterions, I think, I mean criterions not really linked to football value)

I've got other ideas for the on-topic survivors: you'll see, guys Grin.

As for the off-topic ones, would you take part in a Futurama characters survivor ?
(a large one, with all small characters, including Nixon's head, of course Grin)

If hughento doesn't start his off-topic survivor, you'll be able to start your Football Cup winners, Hans.

I've just PMed him: let's wait a bit.

No interest in a Futurama characters survivor ?

No interest from me: I know absolutely nothing and I don't intend to learn about them Wink.

I remember that there are dog breeders or sons of dog breeders who pushed laws on the subject in Atlasia.
Badger ? Maybe some others. Maybe you can search threads on the subject in Atlasia boards (especially Mideast Assembly) and PM them. Just an idea... Wink

As my Futurama characters doesn't seem to be very popular,
as, anyway, the list is a bit hard to set for the moment, given the fact I'm pretty busy,

I delete my option on it, but will start later today 2 new off-topic survivors (hughento and Obamanation are silent on their own):

Modern Latin alphabet
and
Arabic digits

I must be becoming mad, but I vaguely recall something too, but I don't find anything, neither in the "database" of this sub-board, nor by searching the forum.

Was it a failed attempt ? or was it only an idea ? or a thread deleted by an angry mod before the survivormaniacs were "deported" here ?

Anyway, as there is no mark for more than one year, it's allowed to (re)start them Wink.

It was an April Fool's joke that you deleted yourself after one day.

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now, I'm doing it for real, seriously....
Roll Eyes

This is where you see how deep is your own decline through the years...
What is fun is that the idea has popped again in my mind 2 days ago Tongue.
I'm really an "automatic" genius ! Grin (no, don't try to understand...)

Fortunately, I've got some more serious ideas when these 2 are over.
(in fact, I was a bit disappointed not to succeed in setting easily a fine list of Ukrainian heads of state and/or government, with all the regimes, so I turned to this low idea...)

Well, since my 90th Congress US Senate survivor is a total failure, I'm thinking of starting a new one for years of the 20th Century. What do you guys think?
(A pity for you 90th Congress one, but even Kal's Stalin inner circle (the finest idea ever Tongue) hadn't a big turnout and I still hesitate on my Chinese Politburo idea)

Great !

I was just thinking about one on centuries... of course being a bit skeptical on centuries BC Tongue
If someone wants to use the idea, (s)he's welcome.

I have an idea for an off topic Survivor:

Super Bowl Winners and Losers. If approved, they will be two separate survivors

OK

Do I have to wait or can I go ahead and do both?

You can do both of them, no problem, as Kal hasn't started his own.

That could be fun, though the Europeans may not have a great knowledge in the bands you'd pick.
I'm interested but not sure until I'll see the list.

At least, you'll have Edu.
As for me... well... I have weird tastes: between Dvorak and Depeche Mode, there is almost nothing Tongue
So, I'm not sure at all to cast a ballot.
But I'm sure you'll have many voters, especially if you PM some US and UK firends on this forum.

Is it OK for me to do a members of the Knesset survivor? Or is that too long? If it's too long, I can do a members of the Knesset survivor with each party done separately?

Can you calm down a bit ? Tongue

You've got many ideas but it seems not every one of them is well followed.

With this survivor, you won't have a big turnout, probably (I won't be able to vote in it, for the same reasons as homely).
Either by party or as only one survivor, it'd be very difficult to know enough about every MP.

And if others of your survivors have a turnout too low for your taste, just let us know by saying a survivor is dropped (taht's not an obligation, but this info could be useful).

Hi. I've only started looking around this board since the past few days, but is there any interest for a dominant parties survivor?

If I did this, it would be quite ambitious and would play very differently from most survivors, so I would like to know if there are any rules on the conduct of them.

Nope, you are free to create your own game rules, provided there is a survivor in the end Grin.
Just remember that turnout is varying and sometimes low, especially in holiday and exams periods Wink.

"Dominant parties" all over the world ? The subject hasn't been used, so it's up to you.

You can do both of them. Thanks God, they are "on-topic".

But, please, don't eliminate too many names at once: they are short survivors, so eliminate one by one.
It's more suspenseful, more pleasant and it may avoid ties more easily Wink.

I'd like to restart this survivor at some point.  I'd imagine it's off-topic so let me know when I can do it.  I'd like to change the rules a little bit as to pit a NT book V an OT book in the end, if that's supported.

I intended to do it too, but you're welcome.
And since Darth Yelnoc is OK and Rochambeau's off-topic survivors are suspended, all is fine.

Your idea of new rules is excellent.
