English and Basic Spanish which is the level I have reached after four months of living here... My reading is much better than my speaking though.

A little bit of Spanish, too.

English and French for me. I took five courses of french in high school and french is my major at the University of Oklahoma.

Wow. You remind me of a friend from Alberta who is pretty Conservative and yet is majoring in French.

Don't you people know it's anti-American to speak French? ;-)

As for me, I wish I could speak French... sometimes I wonder if I'm the only white person my age who can't speak it very well.

Don't you live, like, across the river from Frenchland?

I know the basics. Can probably carry on a conversation, but I couldn't just sit down and write a 5 page essay with no mistakes. Wink Franzl has actually been a good help for me with my German, as I know he speaks it well.

Yes. About 50% of the metro area (which includes parts of Quebec) is bilingual. It's hard getting jobs as a unilingual Sad
