Washington: most of the state
Idaho: Been to Northern Idaho (visits and drive throughs) dozens of times, probably. I lived very close to the border on two separate occasions.
Oregon: Been to the coast numerous times; also the interior at a younger age. Have barely spent time in Portland, strangely enough...
California: LA + SD, Disneyland etc.
Hawaii: Oahu
Montana: All over the western part of the state, including Missoula & Helena a bunch of times.
Wyoming: Yellowstone (though I was pretty young)
New York: Almost exclusively Manhattan, briefly went to Brooklyn and Staten Island.
New Jersey: Airport (for NYC), and also drove through... At a rest stop, I remember taking note of McGreevey's portrait. His scandal broke almost immediately after that! Shocked
Pennsylvania: Philadelphia, and the touristy stuff to its west
Delaware: Drove through
Maryland: Drove through
DC: tourist stuff.
VA: Arlington + Dulles
Florida: Disney World!!!

oh, and Missouri for an airport stop, if that counts Wink

blue: Lived there/still maintain a residence part-time

red: Have visited the state and actually done something of value (no direct relation to time spent here. I've done worthwhile things without spending a full 24 hours in some states).

green: Didn't really do anything. Drove through, spent the night in a motel....maybe even gone on a short walk or seen a couple of towns....but nothing really that I consider a "visit" in the sense of the states colored red.
