A Tennessee state Rep. gives Hooters a big nod in the latest issue of the restaurant's magazine:

Freshman state Rep. Julia Hurley in the latest edition of Hooters Magazine attributes her business and political success to her time working at the restaurant chain known for its waitresses' revealing outfits.

The Lenoir City Republican who defeated incumbent Democrat Dennis Ferguson in November wrote in the two-page piece that succeeding at Hooters taught her how to overcome difficult circumstances, like when her first business failed.

In Hurley's words: "If I could make it at Hooters, I could make it anywhere."

Actually I've only been to Hooters once and it was when I was like 12. My family was in Fargo and it was the only restaurant nearby that had a TV, my dad refused to go anywhere without one because of the football game.

There was a Perkins that me and some guys from my dorm frequented all the time my freshman year of college though just because the waitresses were really hot though...
