Kinda hard to win with one vote.

I'll have more than one vote.  My main platform is voter reform.  I want to go to winner take all.

I don't have fake accounts though I know you probably wish I did so moderators could find a reason to ban me.

Is the election really in 8 days?  Am I still eligible to at least be on the ballot?  Someone PM me please to guide me through the steps of at least getting on the ballot.

I'd love to, but nobody seems to have found the statutes.  Wink Well, only slightly joking.

There is an election guidebook and I do know you need a VP candidate and have declare on a thread, which is stickied.

Are you currently JJ's running mate?

I'd be ok with being a running mate of someone even though I'd prefer to run for President outright.  Also, if anybody wants to be my running mate, please PM me ASAP so I can get the sticky thread up and declare my candidacy.

Ah I'll post the announcement here!

I want to thank Taoisigh for his dedication fighting the inane bureaucracy and nonsense that is Atlasia.  He may be stepping down from his candidacy but he will not be forgotten.  NOW the time has come for me to declare that I am...

running for the Vice Presidency on the same ticket as J.J.  This is a very exciting time to be involved in the political process and I am THRILLED to be part of a team lead by J.J.  He is a man who is not without conviction, integrity and character.  Together, we will succeed.

Okay, let the questioning begin!

What is your opinion on Stem Cell research and the possible subsidizing of said research, conducted by the private sector?

How dare you.  Although J.J. and I may be on the same ticket, we do differ in some of our positions.  A key difference is that I do NOT consider this a joke candidacy.  I am in it to win it.  I also think that J.J., despite his public expressions, is ALSO in it to win it.

Okay, let the questioning begin!

What is your opinion on Stem Cell research and the possible subsidizing of said research, conducted by the private sector?

Stem Cell Research is necessary to investigate and discover cures for serious diseases.  I support this research through every technological route available and support RESPONSIBLE subsidies of this research.  Most likely we could just shuffle around the cash already being pushed into the private medical research sector or simply allow those wishing to conduct expanded research to proceed.

Good. One ridiculous joke candidacy is better than two.

How dare you.  Although J.J. and I may be on the same ticket, we do differ in some of our positions.  A key difference is that I do NOT consider this a joke candidacy.  I am in it to win it.  I also think that J.J., despite his public expressions, is ALSO in it to win it.

Jokes are jokes whether or not they are intentional.

This is how political opponents talk to make themselves feel better.  While you and your party (if you can call it that) do not feel politcally threatened yet, please know that my candidacy will affect this election regardless of whether or not this ticket is successful.

It seems like February in Bakersfield, California is boring.

I don't live in Bakersfield but if one is to equate posting with one's level of boredom, I must say that it must be extremely boring in your part of Canada the entire year.
