He's not tied with Romney.

But it seems that, as of now, nominating Romney is the only safe option, as Huck is obviously not running.

     Not tied, but close to it. Given the inherent uncertainty of polling, a 1% difference can be called a tie.

This is an interesting time for polling as we get a decent picture of what the election looks like if Obama hits an unpopularity funk around election day.  Needless to say, things still look good for him.
