Truman is honestly a very "underrated" historical figure in general, in a multitude of ways. It's impossible to not be intrigued and amused by all of the peculiar aspects of his political views, career, personality, attitude, background, and life overall. The more I read about the man, the more memorable of a character he becomes in my mind.
