All voters in the Northeast are eligible to vote on whether to ratify this amendment to the Northeast constitution.  An amendment requires at least 2/3rds approval with a turnout of at least 1/3rd of registered voters.  This booth will be open for 72 hours.

This voting booth is out of order.   Per Article VII, Section ii of the New Northeast Constitution, votes on amendments to the New Northeast Constitution are to be opened on the third Friday of a month, not immediately after passage by the Assembly.  The text of that provision:

ii) The Chief Judicial Officer shall open the polling booth for all proposed Amendments approved by the Governor before 12:00:00am EST of the second Friday of a month at 12:00:00am EST on the third Friday of the same month. The Chief Judicial Officer shall open the polling booth for all proposed Amendments approved by the Governor after 12:00:00am EST of the second Friday of a month at 12:00:00 am EST on the third Friday of the following month. The Chief Judicial Officer shall close the polling booth at 11:59:59pm EST on the following Sunday. If the date for opening the polling booth coincides with another Northeast election, the Chief Judicial Officer shall include the vote on any proposed Amendments in the polling booth for that election.

If forced to vote, I vote nay.

We don't need confusion about whether an amendment was properly passed.

Nay for the reasons cinyc described above.

Plus I'm sure this will encounter other constitutional morass, or atleast some clauses.

Senator is an office created under federal law, even if elected by NE citizens. Regional law have no authority over it.

You can't vote on this. You're not a citizen of the Northeast.

Such silly trivialities! The Northeast Region needs no procedure!
